Michel Kirch develops a strange and sensitive universe that lies somewhere

between magical realism and surrealistic fantasy.

His vision of the world is subjective, resulting from the constant confrontation of his

deep sensitivity to a reality that he knows is moving and elusive. What he tells us reveals, in its precise and solidly structured staging, that the mystery behind any situation makes derisory and futile attempts to reduction to necessarily simplistic representations. It is therefore not a question of testimony, even less of a report on the state of the world, but the materialization of a kind of interior landscape, of personal fiction through the forms, approximations and contingencies of the physical world.
